Eunice Levis (Writer/ Director & Producer)
Eunice Levis is a first-generation Dominican American from the Bronx, New York. Eunice's work focuses on genre-bending stories that combine her love of horror, sci-fi, thriller and fantasy through a diasporic lens. She is a two-time Sundance Lab Second Rounder, a Stowe Story Lab Fellow, and a Netflix/NALIP Women of Color Short Film Incubator fellow.
Eunice's latest work includes INVADE, an environmental sci-fi short film and RO & THE STARDUST, a space fantasy short film. In addition to writing and directing, Eunice teaches and cohosts Café Negro con Genre (with fellow filmmaker Les Rivera), a podcast that promotes creatives working in the genre space.
Eunice is a graduate of New York University and is managed by 3 Arts Entertainment.
Elvis Nolasco (Executive Producer)
Elvis Nolasco is an American film, stage and television actor. Nolasco has made number of appearances in Spike Lee films and most recently in Lee's Netflix series SHE'S GOTTA HAVE IT. In 2015, Nolasco starred opposite Emmy Award winner Regina King in ABC's critically acclaimed series from John Ridley, AMERICAN CRIME. More recently he can be seen in several projects, including Terrell Alvin McCraney's television debut DAVID MAKES MAN and the popular CW series ALL AMERICAN. Currently Nolasco can seen starring opposite Forest Whitaker and Vincent D'nofrio as Nat Pettigrew, in GODFATHER OF HARLEM on Epix
He is Executive Producer and will make his sci-fi debut as Ramon Luna in “InVade”.
Berman Fenelus (Executive Producer)
Berman is an award winning Producer/Director based in New York City with 20 years of professional experience. He has made it his mission to create and produce unique, visually stimulating stories about diverse communities that mainstream Hollywood tends to neglect. He is currently Senior Content Producer at understood.org. He has directed and shot for Maybelline, Adidas X FinishLine, Tide, Toyota, and McDonalds. In 2020, Berman won an Emmy for directing Spell It Out, a PSA about food allergies. Through his production company All Area Crew, he has also produced award-winning short films and documentaries including Kojo, LANA, and SELFie.
Rachel K. Ofori (Producer)
Rachel is a highly motivated, creative professional that fosters not only the art of this business, but the productivity— working in varied vocations of entertainment and film for over the past decade. She is a published award winning writer, a former on-air personality for ABC with the Philadelphia Eagles, and has worked on projects ranging from local PBS commercials to studio and independent feature films.
Prior to focusing her career solely on film and TV she was a former Director of Personnel and event producer for events such as the US Open golf and tennis, the PGA tour, pharmaceutical launches, and the Super Bowl. She also moonlights as a post production producer for brands such as Adobe, Get Kinetic, Smash Entertainment and a host of creative works.
Her goal for all endeavors is excellence. Through a tenacious work-ethic, her aptitude for business, and belief in integrity and team effort, Rachel looks to identify avenues and critical relationships to continuously meet that goal.
Jason Chau (Director of Photography)
a son of Vietnamese and Burmese refugees. His fascination with Cinematography began at age 15 when he borrowed his mom’s camcorder and shot short films with his friends in a small town in Mays Landing, New Jersey. His parents recognized his interests in filmmaking and in 2005 encouraged him to attend film school in Fairleigh Dickinson University.
With an eye for capturing unique moments, perspectives and movement, he soon became second unit DP and Camera Operator for a variety of projects for James Franco. In 2017, after freelancing in New York for a couple of years, Jason joined the International Cinematographer’s Guild Local 600 and recently has been awarded the ICG Emerging Cinematographer Award in 2020.
Kevin Hackenberg (Assistant Director)
Kevin Hackenberg is an award-winning filmmaker & cinematographer who has directed celebrities such as Neil Patrick Harris and Kevin Hart, athletes and media icons like Shaquille O'Neal, and pulled Oscar worthy performances out of everyone from stiff corporate executives to hard working mom's. As the son of the renowned migratory beekeeper who sounded the alarm on the bees disappearing in 2006, Kevin was honored to serve as Assistant Director on Invade.
